California Traffic Court Directory
Every California traffic ticket is heard by the Superior Court of the county where the officer issued it. The court and its address are printed on the citation, and under Vehicle Code section 40512 that printed court is the one that has your case. Use this directory to find that court's traffic filing address for the county on your ticket, or to check a mailing address before you send a Trial by Written Declaration.
The addresses below are the locations each court names for traffic filings, checked against the court's own website on September 5, 2026. Where a court gives a separate mailing address for traffic mail, that address is listed too. Twenty-three counties have more than one traffic courthouse; those rows say so, and the citation decides which branch applies.

Before you mail anything
- Match the court name on your citation to the row here. If the citation names a branch that is not the county's main traffic court, mail to that branch.
- A Trial by Written Declaration has to arrive at the court, with the bail deposit, by the appearance date on the citation or the extended date the court gave you. Rule 4.210 of the California Rules of Court sets the procedure.
- Mailing addresses change. If the court's website lists a different address from this table, the website wins; tell us at support@ticketfight.ai and we will correct the row.
- These are Superior Court traffic divisions, not police departments or the DMV. Questions about the citation itself go to the court, not to the agency that wrote it.
